Who needs an excuse?

posted by Bietz on March 6th, 2004

Well, I did. Given the problems with our Berkeley DB, and given the level of corruption made it so we had a switch to MySql (good move), I figured it was time for VBD to get a new look. Over the next few days we’ll be bringing some of the content from the old site over here. In the meantime, you can leave comments and let us know how you like it. Also, we will have a dedicated Cribs Page now! Email Jon Cruz if you want to participate!

i kind of liked the old layout better… with entries on the right & the resource column on the left; but this V looks pretty suave nonetheless.

I’m posting from the CFL qualifier at Scarsdale — it’s prep time, and I have wireless Internet ;o) — to note that some old archived interviews, editorials, and the like will find their way back onto here in the coming days…and all the pictures will be back up on VB Photos.

    Oh yeah! :o)

We plan to archive much of the old material. We won’t be archiving posts about tourney results, for example, because the results will be included in our forthcoming results archives.

Duby’s top 10 lectures post will be saved for posterity, of course. :o)
